ATZUR CLUB _ Bulletin NO.01/24

Hello you,

After a long procrastinating phase I've decided to start a newsletter for all things tour, recent pics, updates on upcoming shows, studio sneak peeks, random thoughts, books, recommendations, ethereal thoughts, and whatever.

As a 90s kid myself, I remembered writing to my pal friends frequently, and the intense bliss the moment I've got a letter on my mail. I hope this will do that for you!

I want to start by sharing the wonderful news that we are going on tour for the last shows in Spain this year. We will be playing for the first time in Sevilla, Vigo, Oviedo and Zaragoza. These last three cities just sold out. It feels crazy every time, I don't think I will ever get used to it, and I deeply appreciate the support and generosity of each of you.

And talking (or writing) about sold out shows... The intense, overwhelming love we felt in Lisboa, I'm still floating on the warmth of the welcome we received and how genuinely kind and committed you all are. This was our first time playing in Portugal, such a free-fall to book such a show. I remember when we were talking about the cities to add for the tour and Paul suddenly having the idea of Lisboa. Everything against it, no radio airplay, no media, no festivals played, no promoter. Only this gut feeling, like a calling, an intuition. No regrets, it came out better that we honestly expected. 350 people. Our biggest sold out show until now. Obrigado forever.

I am currently reading Middlesex, by Jeffrey Eugenides (the author of The Virgin Suicides). And because my birthday was a couple weeks ago (6th September) I've just ordered a new batch of books. I'm also listening to Dianna Lopez healing guitar melodies, actually right now while writing you this. I am having a hairdresser appointment this week and am fighting the urge to go blonde. I'm also currently grieving the end of fig season. Here by the Mediterranean summer still lingers sometimes. And as the days grow shorter, I want to hug you wherever you are, and thank you for being here. I love you.

Speak soon,

Patricia
